EPSON ENVISION MEMBER VAR TERMS AND REQUIREMENTS
Enrollment Criteria
To participate at the Envision Member VAR level, resellers must meet the following minimum criteria.
  1. Proven ability to sell POS systems and printers
  2. Minimum of three years in business selling into retail and hospitality
  3. Sufficient staffing to achieve meaningful level of POS product sales and provide post-sale support
  4. Specify at least one primary contact with email information for each physical location participating in the program
  5. Value Added Reseller with a business model focused on selling directly to end users
Member VARs must meet the following requirements:
  • Sell minimum of 50 Epson POS printers in a 12-month period
  • Actively promote Epson products on website and collateral
  • Focus on selling Epson products at a sufficient profit margin to maintain sustainable long-term profitability
  • Attend at least 3 product, sales, and marketing webinars in 12-month period
  • Maintain accurate contact information in Epson database
  • Focus primarily on new printer sales; refurbished printers are not more than 25% of total printer sales
  • Do not sell Epson printers acquired through the gray market or other resellers
Terms of Epson Partnership
  • Revenue progress, market penetration, and compliance with Program requirements will be reviewed on a regular basis
  • Epson retains the right to add and subtract resellers as Epson considers appropriate
  • Epson may in its sole discretion decline to accept any applicant as a member, remove any accepted member, and revise or terminate the program
  • Because it is a significant cost to Epson to fund the program, Epson will annually review the program and membership mix with the aim of obtaining the best return on investment. This may result in adding and/or dropping members at the annual review periods
